Good Luck!

I have used a Nikon camera for years…and I LOVE it but it’s not digital. Needless to say, digital is the way to go…and I’d love to go with a NEW DIGITAL Nikon. I have four grandkids so there are lots of opportunities for great pictures!
I just discovered your blog through Nana Hood. I love reading about other grandmas and how I can be a better one. I have been using some kind of Canon Power-Shot camera. It would be great to win a camera that helps counteract my shaking hands, or my quick moving grandchildren. Thanks for this opportunity through your drawing.
I would want a camera for my 10 years old Grand daughter Cate. She now has a Kodak Z16, which I got her for her birthday, but it just does not do what we had hoped.
She has just completed a heritage project for her 5th grade, which has made her very interested in documenting some of the family activities. A great camera would help her.
I hope she wins!!!
Presently I am using a Canon Power Shot A2000 IS and enjoying it. My last camera which I used for MANY years until I dropped it on the granite surface ont too many times up high in The Sierras was a NIKON COOLPIX E3200 which I simply loved as it was so easy to use and fun to blow up and save the altered images!! That was super! I also enjoyed each night in my tent on these Sierra trips looking at all the great shots from the days activities and beautiful scenery and sharing them with others. I have many great albums with the shots taken with my Coolpix. Would certainly love to have another and a more up to date version. Hoping to be chosen!! THANK YOU.
I would love to give my mom this camera. She has never owned a digital camera. I wanted to get her one for Christmas and couldn’t afford one because I have been out of a job. She is getting remarried this year and I would love to be able to have her take some pictures easily during the reception. She could also get some updated pictures of us kids which she would love!
I love the feature’s of the Nikon S5100 and it looks hella cool to have one.. I am using a sony cybershot t90 before but unfortunately someone just stole it in school.. I want to win this Nikon so that I can try all of it’s awesome features. :)) and I really love to capture all of the things that is happening to me so that when i grow old i can still treasure the memories. 🙂
The Nikon Coolpix S5100 sounds like an amateur’s dream camera. I now use a SONY Cybershot Exmor 10.2 megapixels. I did a fair amount of research before purchasing but the camera store did not have my top three choices. I am disappointed in flash quality with this camera and the auto focus doesn’t always give crisp shots. I take a lot of photos and like to tell stories with a series of photos. I love making photo books, and I need a camera that will take clear, colorful photos. I am frequently photographing a wiggley six year old and I would appreciate having a camera with a quicker shutter response. The many features of the Nikon Coolpix S5100 would be especially suitable for my needs.
The camera I use now is my cell phone. It really Is a good camera as far as megapixels but that’s all it does. My grandbabies are 3 and 1 and I take about 50 pictures each time I see them which is a couple of times a month. I have to save them to a disk immediately so my phone won’t freeze up. I love to scrapbook but my phone-camera doesn’t give me much to work with. I would love to take a picture without red eye or blur! I feel like I spent too much on my phone but the camera in it helped convince me and I’m not in a position to splurge on a camera as well. Thanks for the opportunity to dream of winning one so awesome!
I have a Cannon camera that is about 6-7 years old. My good friend and co-worker has a great camera and takes fabulous photos all the time. (I will admitt she has some natural talent for taking pictures too!) It would be awesome to have a great camera that is speedy with the modern technology like my friends…I have 2 grandbabies on the way and would love to be ready to take lots of photos this spring!!
I work my little inexpensive hp digital to pieces. Constantly taking pictures of the grandchildren, children, friends, things around the home. Would love to have a better camera to capture “more” of the moment. Thank you for the kind offer.
We have a Cannon which once belonged to my brother inlaw and it’s around 7 years old but now the flash no longer works and I found that out on the day of my daughter’s baby shower. My mom didn’t have alot of pictures of me growing up because just about everything she owned got burned in a house fire so I made sure that my husband and I took alot of pictures of our kids while they were growing and now that we have our first grandson who by the way is the cuttest baby ever!!!…we want to be able to take as many pictures as we can of him so he’ll have them when he gets older. 🙂
I am using a Canon power-shot A590. But I would love to have the Nikon to give to my granddaughter who loves to take pictures. And purple (the color shown) is her favorite color! I think that the Nikon Coolpix would easy for her to use and a good instrument to enhance her photography. She’s shown a good eye for shooting well and she’s a wiz with any electronic gadget.
As a GaGa, giving this camera to my granddaughter, where I am able to help her learn to care for it and use it well would be a thrill.
Thanks for the opportunity to consider what I’d do with your great little Nikon camera.
I would love to have this Nikon camera! My Samsung camera is old and doesn’t take very good pictures, and there is a delay when I push the button before it takes the actual picture. So by the time the camera flashes, my granddaughter has looked away! Or I’ve missed my sons’ sports moments! I miss a lot of special moments because of the delay! I just found this website today, and I’m looking forward to being a part of it and sharing experiences as a grandmother! I have one daughter (my oldest) and five sons, and now that my daughter has a daughter, I’m a proud “Mimi” and happy to have a girl in the family again!
I have a Canon PowerShot S30 that is only 3 megapixels. I love taking pictures of my grandchildren and want to enlarge some of them. The quality is not that good when I do it and I am so limited as to size. I am way overdue in getting a replacement but hope to do something this year before they get much older.
WOW – I’ve been reading about the Nikon COOLPIX S5100, and it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for! The reason I want to replace my old Kodak digital is that it isn’t fast enough to take pictures of our grandchildren who are always on the move! By the time it gets ready to take the picture, the little ones are on their way to the next activity, and I’ve sadly missed the opportunity to record the moment. I understand this COOLPIX is fast as well as clear and simple to use – all features I’d love to have. We take about 2,000 photos a year and record every visit with our grandchildren in Snapfish books, so truly appreciate good pictures that will transfer well over the internet.
We relied on Nikon quality back in the film days and now look forward to enjoying it again in the digital era.
I have an HP Photosmart M23.
A friend gave it to me and she had bought it with “airmiles’ but wasnt camera
ready.
I really like it but it is probably ten years old and I would like the newer features.
I have three ‘grands’ and love to take their pics.
I use a Canon Powershot SD 960 and don’t like it. The dials in the back are confusing to use. I thought it would be easier. Even a person at a camera store had problems helping me. I had a NIKON manual years ago and loved it.
I presently have a Nikon Coolpix! It’s a little camera that takes good pictures. I would love to have another to keep close by such as in my purse or car. That way I can catch those special moments with my granddaughters and another grandchild due in June. Thank you.
i use the camera on my phone! not very good quality — so this would be a great blessing to capture those special moments of my kids’ lives!!!!
I have a fuji that was a great camera but is now about 6 yrs. old and it’s really starting to blur. I have a new Grandson and have missed some really good shot of him because of them blurring. I love to take pictures, I take pictures of everything. I would love to have the Nikon!
It would be nice to have my own Nikon camera rather then borrowing my youngest daughter’s Nikon camera to take pictures of my oldest daughter’s newly born child!
Proud grandmother 🙂
Our digital camera has been without a flash for a couple of years so my sister gave us her old digital one and, come to find out, she has a new one because her old one is horrible! It only can take 24 pictures at a time and gets jammed all the time. We have a 4 year old and a 7 year old and there are so many times when I want to take pictures and can’t. As someone who LOVES to look back at old pictures, this has been frustrating for me.
I don’t have a working camera, so this would be a dream come true!
The camera I have been using is a Canon Power Shot. Unfortunately it is now broken (I’ve had it for 6 years). Fortunately it didn’t stop working until after Christmas.
I use an Olympus with pretty much auto everything. I don’t think it’s the best camera in the world as I can’t seem to get as clear of photos as I wish. Or maybe that’s operator error. This guy you’re giving away might help me with that. :o)
That’s s a neat camera to win.
I’ve given these as gifts to my granddaughters but have never owned one. I’ll be letting my readers know about this giveaway!
